Disciple I, led by our senior pastor, is an intensive experience that takes participants through the entire Bible in 34 weeks.
For those who have completed Disciple I, there are advanced Disciple courses that provide a more in-depth explorations of various parts of the Bible. For more information, please contact the church office.
Companions in Christ,
a 28-week small-group experience, designed for all who seek a deepening personal journey with God. There are daily spiritual readings, and exercises in various methods of prayer, with a weekly group session on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The leader will be Carol Pozuc, who led Companions in Christ several years ago. The cost of the participant’s book is $20. You can register in the atrium, and you can find out more at Companions in Christ is sponsored by the Upper Room Ministries, our United Methodist publisher of prayer and spiritual growth resources.

The "University of Life" is a series of course offerings for adults, arranged in six-week terms, on Sunday mornings during the acedemic year.
Courses cover all different areas of Christian living; there are classes on Bible study, parenting, contemporary social issues, world religions, and various other subjects.
Classes meet from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings; child care is offered.

Led by Dr. Palmer, in the Room 200, this class provides an orientation to all persons who are potentially interested in joining our congregation. Participants will be welcomed into membership Sunday, May 23, 2010.

"Being a Friend to the Bereaved and Troubled" led by Dr. Palmer and Rev Denton in Pierson Hall at 9:30 and in the Parlor at 11:30 What should you say to someone who has just lost a loved one? How can you be helpful to people who are going through some very difficult times? If you ever feel at a loss in such in such cumstances, this twoweek course will be helpful. The class content will tie in with the Sunday sermons on the same Sundays, which will deal with our Christian ministry to people in the midst of tough times.
