Beside Still Waters

The Lord is my shepherd . . . (Psalm 23:1)

He leads me beside the still waters (Psalm 23:2)

Sometimes the waters of life become rough.

Hurricane Florence has battered the east coast with raging floodwaters.

Jesus’ disciples were once caught in a fearsome storm on the Sea of Galilee.

But Jesus said to the storm, “Peace, be still,”. . . and there was a complete calm.  (Mark 4:39)

The life of faith is not always smooth; but the Lord quiets the turbulent waters, but we can find, through faith, a peace and strength to carry us through every storm.

Trust in the Lord as your Shepherd; for He leads us to still waters.
