The Lord of All Truth

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:5–6

Sometimes, events happen in our life that just don’t make sense. We may think we have our lives figured out: what college we want to go to, who we are going to marry, what career path were taking, and many other decisions. Just when we think everything is settled, something happens that changes our plan. This may leave us angry and questioning God. Why did this happen? Why is God sending me down a more difficult path?

The truth is, God’s wisdom and direction go above our human understanding. When something jarring in life happens, we have to learn to trust God instead of questioning God. Oftentimes, these moments in life either teach us very important lessons, or lead us to new and better opportunities! Strive to recognize the authority of God’s wisdom and pray for God’s direction. Humble yourself to God and allow God to guide you along the path God has planned for you!

Thought for the Day: God’s wisdom transcends above all mortal and earthly wisdom.

Prayer: God, you are The Lord of All Truth. Guide me in my decisions so that I may follow the path you intended for me. Amen
