Why is it that when people look at the natural world, they marvel at its beauty? We are struck by the artistry of it all.

Science can help us understand the processes by which the world took shape. But the only explanation for its artistry is that there is an Artist behind it all who has given us the ability to appreciate the art.

So we look at the world with wonder and lift our hearts to the Creator in praise!

He has a B.A. from Wittenberg University, a Master of Divinity from Duke University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. A native of Wooster, Ohio, he has served three other churches in east Ohio before coming to Kent. He and his wife, Mavis, have three children.
