We may find ourselves in dark and distressing times, but the Bible says that God has a plan. It is a plan to give us a future with hope. That plan unfolds through Jesus Christ, who triumphs over evil and death.

The plan unfolds further through us, as we put our trust in Christ, and let His Spirit work through our lives. In God’s plan we have a wondrous destiny: to live as children of God forever. We can begin to fulfill our destiny today—as we take hold of God’s promise, and join together in service for Christ.

He has a B.A. from Wittenberg University, a Master of Divinity from Duke University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. A native of Wooster, Ohio, he has served three other churches in east Ohio before coming to Kent. He and his wife, Mavis, have three children.
