The Real You

What is your true identity?

Are you just a material creature in a meaningless world?

Are you what others think you are, which may be less than wonderful?

Are you the sum of all the very imperfect things you have done?

Or are you who God says you are?

“The Spirit of God bears witness within us that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.” (Romans 8:16-17)

We discover our true identity as we listen to God’s Word to us, come to full expression in Jesus Christ. Through Christ God claims us as children of God, who are forgiven and loved by God, and who have an eternal inheritance.

So take hold of your true identity! – to live in God’s grace as part of the everlasting family of God.
